Okay, I took some readings on the AL-811H. 4 new Chinese tubes installed. HV is 1600V unloaded. Drive ~ 70w BAND PWR Ip Ig HV 160m 300w 450mA 165mA 1475V 80m 450w 500mA 185mA 1350V 40m 400w 300mA 120mA 1400V 20m 410w 325mA 130mA 1400V 15m 410w 375mA 150mA 1400V 10m 390w 370mA 140mA 1400V PWR = carrier power read on an average reading meter. Shouldn't I be seeing more power coming out of this amp ?
