Hello all,
I have an AL-1500 that I use with a Kenwood TS-930 transceiver. The 930 has
a power control for CW but not SSB like most modern rigs do. I have been
using the ALC to limit drive to the 8877 but have read where adding negative
feedback resistance in series with the cathode would be a better solution to
limit drive. Has anyone used this method to limit drive, and if so, how did
the amp respond??
