[Amps] Clipperton L buzzy Transformer

Hi all
 My Dentron clipperton L has a noisy , buzzy transformer. It works fine ,
But the noise is somewhat annoying.... Other than replacing it with a
expensive Peter Dahl unit or putting it in a external box on the floor....
What are my options ?? Also what is the cause of transformers make these
noises ?? I heard it before in other power supplies
