I assume this is a typographical error, and should be 3cx1500a7.
There's no way a triode (8877)is a tetrode (4cx1500a7).

I saw a couple of the first 4cx1600's sent over here, (they were a
Russian number, and they had small anode cooling fins. I think it
was decided to enlarge the anode coolers, and call the result (for
the western market) the 4cx1600b.
Versions with the smaller anode cooler were electrically identical,
but would take more airflow (=higher pressure=more noise) to keep
cool.
