NTS:IC7610, PRO67B @ 60 feet, vertical for 80, vertical for 20 & 40 with
elevated radials, n1mm+. Well I did it again stayed at the hamfest to long and
missed to start of the contest. I was very tired from the hamfest and I may have
fell asleep once or twice as it was very hard to get going and I look a few
breaks just to try and wake up. I put up the verticals with elevated radials and
when I switched to 40 meters I had a lot of rf in the shack. It was enough to
lock up the computer a few times. It also removed the wireless keyboard and
mouse from the computer. I installed a lot of toroid's real quick but it didn't
really help. I got the log then pop function working again and was able to use
it a few times. Band conditions were not that great. I still had fun on RTTY and
need to plan on running more time on it. Again I need to quit being a
professional procrastinator.
This is a great 100 watt test and hope to do better next year
