Comments:
I've still got the SO2R training wheels on but slowly improving. My big problem
this time out was heavy precipitation static the first 5 hours on 40 and up from
the torrential rain we had. I regularly had to abandon my run frequency when I
couldn't hear callers and resorted to S&P what I could hear. I had just one
lower tri-bander (fixed south) that was relatively immune. My 20m result
suffered most.
The rain turned to freezing rain. Luckily it was not nearly as bad as what hit a
couple of weeks ago and there was no more antenna damage. Winter is so much fun.
