Comments:
First test of a new KPA1500 amp., S/N 0096, finally installed about 90 minutes
before the contest started (I've been procrastinating). Took a risk on that,
but no problems, it worked great!
No DX worked except KH6, and it's nice to see that Hawaii now counts as a mult.
But where was Canada? I only worked VE2, VE3, VE5, no others heard.
20m conditions weren't as good as they have been in other September Sprints.
The Midwest and Texas were booming, but nowhere else was at my QTH.
Congrats to Trey, N5KO from the big Mountain Top above me (at W6NL)on his big
QSO number.
It's a good thing I did three NS practices before this Sprint, as it really
helped me to get ready for this one.
Thanks to W6RGG for organizing the NCCC Sprint Teams.
