Comments:
*** THIS WAS A TOTALLY REMOTE OPERATION *** NO ONE IN THE SHACK DURING THE
ENTIRE CONTEST.
Many thanks to the owner of the world's first internet remote, Keith W7DXX (see
nov 2001'issue of QST.)
Keith has worked tirelessly to build and maintain a world class station halfway
up the mountainside at 4,400 ASL. Adverse weather / wind conditions at that
height can be challenging along with Murphy's law.
Flawless remote operation with typical delays of only one "dit" were
experienced, or 0.2 sec.
We were able to work everything we could hear.
Operator locations:
Dan- N5TM- TX
Pat- KJ5Y- TX
