Comments:
At NN7SS again this week, and was looking forward to another NS.
Before NS, maybe a weak K8? heard on 20m. At the start, nothing
heard even though I tuned and called for a minute.
40m was noisy and long, I had a hard time hearing and getting heard,
and few couplets. Only 16 QSOs in 16 minutes and 10 mults. I heard
and called many more people, but no luck. Then it seemed like sparse
activity, so I moved to 80m.
80m was as tough as usual for QRP and a lot of work for 7 QSOs in
10 minutes, but a good 5 mults.
My 2 minutes for 160m yielded 2 x 2 (for a change), and many more
people heard but already involved in a QSO.
So another weak score, without 20m it's tough to do well when QRP.
Maybe this summer I'll put effort in a better 80m antenna for next year.
As always, NS is great fun! See you next week.
