Comments:
Wow! Now that was fun. Even the multiple computer crashes and need to reload
all the software on the computer interfacing with the Internet couldn't spoil
the fun. With such meager SFI numbers and K index that was considerably higher
than in the SSB contest, we didn't expect such great conditions. That was
especially true on the low bands. The topper was the absence of any
significant noise this year.
This represents the highest score ever from the N3RS/W3WJD team. Congrats and
thanks to regulars - Dave, John & Tom and also to Bill and Mark, who are new to
the team this year. The principal operator assignments were:
160M - Team effort by K3WI, NA3D, N3RD & N3RS
80M - N3RS with some help from N3RD in partner mode
40M - W8FJ (who else?)
20M - Team of K3WI & NA3D
15M - N3RD with help from N2SR while Dave fixed the crashed computers & N3RS in
Partner mode
10M - N2SR with help from N3RS & N3RD in partner mode
Everyone helped out as needed to keep the station manned the full 48 hours
We have a big "To do" list following this one, but it goes into the records as
our best ever.
73 de Sig, N3RS
