Woo-Hoo again! A second time over 1,000 pts while QRP!
This week I used the K0PC contest module "NCCC Sprint"
for Writelog. It worked great on my computer running Win XP.
Available at: http://www.ncccsprint.com/writelog.html
I also spent a lot of time trying to get my Windows 7 notebook
setup with Writelog, the K0PC contest module, a USB to
serial port converter for rig control, CW sending, etc.
but not ready for prime time - maybe next week...
I spent a lot of time calling Californians on 20m - but they
were running East Coast! Still, 20m was good with 21 QSOs
in 15 minutes. Again, the thinning crowd made it clear people
had moved up off 20m.
REMINDER: PLEASE SPREAD OUT! Everybody seemed to be
packed in .039 to .041.
40m was quite reasonable, with 11 QSOs in 8 minutes.
3 minutes on 80m yielded BC, WA and CA mults! I heard
quite a few more - but no time left if I wanted to try 160m.
and in the last seconds, local W7OM gave me WA on 160m!
K7SS, N6RO and some others heard there - but time was out.
Thanks for all the fun!
