Woo-Hoo! I did it! I made 1,000 pts while QRP!
It took me three years to work up to it Low Power, and
then two more years to make it while QRP! Yippee!
I am back up to the WA place for a few weeks. All the antennas
and equipment seemed to still be working, but I had forgotten how
l-o-n-g it stays daylight up here in WA in the summer!
20m was a great start with 22 QSOs in 15 minutes, but it was
clear by the thinning crowd that people had left, so I reluctantly
moved up to 40m where the noise was worse, signals were weaker,
but I still enjoyed 10 QSOs and 10 Mults in 10 minutes! I hoped for
a few low band mults, so even though it was still an hour BEFORE
sunset I moved to 80m for 4 QSOs and 4 Mults, and in the last
minute 160m managed ... ZIP (but heard N6RO). But even with the
drastically slowing rate on 80m and 160m - the great Mult total
was enough to push me over 1,000 pts. Really fun to work ZF2JT,
and all you usual suspects - Thanks guys!
Wow! I don't know what to do next, maybe Milli-watt NS?
