Comments:
Contest during NLCS Game 7: where most of the ops surely were tonight,
very
quiet on the bands.
BEAMING EAST 20, 40, 80 and no 160 antenna this go around.
20m: UA0ZC was on 14.040 before the test, and a few weak guys answered
my
CQ's there, but nil during the test.
40m: Slow start & deep QSB. Never heard the Seattle guys, however K1RX
in
NH was 599, and lucky to work W6's off the side
80m: QSB, pin-drop quiet tonight, however wasn't enough to hear the
Seattle
guys.
N6RO loud but not his HUGE presence we normally have, side of the beam
or
not. W0YK was 2nd loudest at s3-5!
Fun trying to keep up with N9CK, but with no Seattle contingent and
weak
W6's, it felt a tad lonely.
All in all - fun as usual - cu in the next one!
