Soapbox : I had intended to run low power but
I just wasn't getting outside
the USA on 20M. I kicked in the amp for about 30
minutes on 20M for an extra 400W till the amp
overheated (something else to look at between
contests).
This was only my 3rd contest with over 200 Q's. I had
fun although 15M and 10M were
dead and 20M was a lot weaker than we all wanted. I
think I only worked one UK QSO,
so much for working the sponsoring country hi hi.
