Comments:
I must give credit to the WI guys for having the best activity/population ratio
of the state qso parties. Unfortunately this year (and likely for the next 4 or
5) WI is too close to Ohio for 20 meters and above, so I was limited to 2 ESP
level scatter qsos on 20 CW.
I missed Florence, Polk, Rock, and Taylor counties.
FB mobile activity, most worked were NE9U (18), W9HB (16), NN9K (15), K5OT and
N9NE (13), K8IR (10), W9MSE, W0AA, and W0YC (9), AF9T (7), and WK9O (6).
I couldn't hear the local guys on 40 well, so I figured the WI guys were having
trouble hearing each other as well. So I did a significant amount of CQing on 40
SSB, with probably 75% of my qsos there made by CQing.
See you all from the roads of Michigan on Saturday, April 17!
Jim K8MR
