Comments:
Ohio is a nice place for this contest... far enough away to have 20 meters to
much of the state much of the time, and close enough to do 40 meters all day and
75/80 the last two hours.
While the contest is a bit behind the curve administratively (no electronic
logs, not much national publicity), its on air execution was top notch. The
mobile contingent was as good or better than that in any other state qso party,
excluding a couple that I operate mobile in :-) . I just wish someone had gone
to the far north central counties, as the only ones I missed were Iron, Vilas,
Oneida, Forest, Florence, and Langlade.
Now less than six weeks until I hit the roads of Michigan in the WRTC (Wolverine
Road Tour Challenge), a.k.a. the Michigan QSO Party. See you on Saturday, April
19.
