Club: North Coast Contesters

Comments:

Threw a couple things together to work a few folks.  Had the 2 el 6m and 4 el 2m
Quad up a whopping 13' in the air on a ladder.  Fed with RG8X.. there's a great
feedline for VHF work..   Hand rotator.   Used FT-736R.  Tried calling a few
folks who could not hear my peanut whistle signal.  Hope to be permanant at
something higher than the house by January with somewhat bigger antenas and real
feedline.  :-)  

Furthest station heard on 6m was K8CC and WB9Z.  On 2m, only heard down to W3SO
and K8GP, although we were never able to make a Q.
