Hello,
Our first Multi Single effort. It went pretty good and we enjoyed the =
contest very much.=20
Specially because of the very interesting and sometimes rapidly changing =
CONDX.
The 160 m ant has decided to go down 150KHz in frequency and in the =
heavy rain I couldn't fix it
just scratched my head how is that possible. So 160m was out. The 80m RX =
ant switch went in smoke right
at the first push of the foot switch. So 80m wasn't so good either. I am =
writing these just to=20
show we still have some more potential for the next time.=20
My highlight of the contest was when R1ANC called on 20m, the next call =
was from VK0LW (never wrkd VK0
before...), the next was EL2AR. Few minutes later turned the ant to =
North and VK0LW called again=20
asked me to go to 40m(7153). I tried very hard, my head was inside the =
radio, I was one big ear=20
but unfortunately did not hear a thing. Almost felt guilty not been able =
to pull out his signals.
All in all great fun with very good CONDX.
