Good opportunity to give the clubstation´s new tribander a test run. With 1470
QSOs the first day I was in line with the planned numbers but knew that chances
for fading propagation were high on sunday. The next morning was painfully
slow with fewer and weaker JA´s and the band opened about 2 hours late to NA.
As eastcoast signals recovered nicely it´s a bit hard to understand why the QSO
rate remained low for most of the afternoon. On sunday zone 3 has been logged
only once.
With DF9ZP, DK3DM and DL8UD on the same band, this was a lot of fun. The 40m
wires were neat when stations were calling off the beam pattern.
Thanks to DK9IP for the linear!

Stefan, DL1IAO
