14.6 Hours of "operation" with off time set at 30 mintes..Perhaps I had some
stints at the rig with
NO QSOs for that long. Contest started with bands sounding fine, but a
thunderstorm overhead.
I started 1/2 hour late, messed up the log and lost another 15 minutes.
Things went OK but by
0310 the bands were pretty much gone.
I was going to see how the new 1000MP MV worked, but only got to try the
weak signal aspects,
until late Sunday when 20 opened rather well with some loud signals again.
Goal was to work 1000Qs or so with 20 hours at the radio. Made good use of
the off times, and
revised the goal to 500 when signals reappeared.
