Comments:

Things went fairly slow this year. Either propagation just wasn't as good as
it could have
been or it was too good and folks weren't looking to the Pacific as much as
before.
Worked for every QSO with the states. Couldn't really get a good pilup
started. Had a little
run on 15M with JAs the first night. The second night had a great opening to
EU on 10M at about
10PM local until after midnight. Band was crowded and pileup was large! I
don't like to
work split in a contest, so I ran numbers. Worked out well in terms of
collecting mults! Still
goes fairly slow, but I worked a fair number before I had to take a break. We
have our 40M
yagi up in the air which is a major improvement from last year. I tried to
work 40M as long as
it was moderately productive at night, but the broadcast stuff gets fairly
strong late at night.

Still had a lot of fun, but nearly lost my voice from calling CQ so much! Will
probably do
fairly well for the Marshall Islands in any case (hi hi)! Looking forward to
next year.
I think a voice keyer might be a wise investment!

Total operating time was 25.5 hours.

Was first licensed as KC0BUX in August of 1997, so this the the last year in
the rookie
category for me!

Club Affiliation: Kwajalein Amateur Radio Club

This is to certify that in this contest I have operated
my transmitter within the limitations of my license and have
