OLD NEW YEAR CONTEST

Date: January 8, 2000 5-9 UTC.
Bands: 20, 40 and 80 meters.
Mode: SSB, CW.
Entries: single OP (on the air 50 years or more), single OP (sum of the
operator's age and
number of years on the air
more than 100), single OP - all others, multi OP, SWL.
Valid contacts: any - including your own QTH. Only one QSO per band/mode is
OK but next QSO
with the same station is
allowed not early than in 10 minutes.
Contest exchange: RS(T) and two or three figures - sum of operators age and
number of years on
the air age. Club
station sends sum of "average age of the team" (sum of ages of all operators
divided by number
of operators) and
number of the years the station exists.
Points: figures from contest exchange are valid points for QSO. No
multiplier in this contest.
Log: please include in summary sheet information about your contest exchange
- separately your
age and number of the
years on air).
Certificates: Top ten in each entry category will receive "Radio" magazine
awards. Winners will
get plaques.
