One of these days a contest will coincide with a solar activity high point:
this one didn't! Not enough in the ionosphere for a serious challenge from
Northern Europe on 10m. Worked-all-W4 and W5, a few on the eastern
seaboard but not much else from US. WT6V the only west coast station at
2126z on Saturday. KH6ND long path brightened up Sunday morning. Star
performer here was JA5BJC, head and shoulders stronger than any other JA,
59 even on a very strongly south-skewed path. Honourable mentions to
nearish-neighbours OT9A, F6BEE, and TM1C, all with consistently strong
backscatter signals.
