Comments: Well, nice to see 10 open again, heard my first JA's of the
cycle this weekend. Being in WA, I'm too close to work CA on 10 and 15,
and too far to be able to really work them on 80/160. So this basically
was a 20/40 contest.
I set a new personal best for Single Op in ANY contest with 281 Q's...I
know, that's a drop in the bucket for most of you, but I'm getting up
there. I feel confident that I can get at least 400 in CW SS, that'll
sure be fun.
Missed only 5 counties, which was great. Thought I might be able to
sweep, but couldn't find a few. Managed to get a couple okay runs on
both CW and SSB, although I had lots of out of CA people call as well,
including a JA and an F5. Nice to know I've got an okay signal in the
US.
Fun contest, looking forward to the Honor Sprint on the 17th, and then
my first M/S in CQ WW SSB as the Juanita Contesting Club kicks off its
new call...hopefully W7WD, the vanity should come back tomorrow.
73, and thanks for the QSO's.
