CT Computer Log
I added a couple of 66 foot lengths of wire to the ends of my 80 meter
dipole, one end was just a few feet above the ground. I was surprised
to find the SWR was 1.2:1 at 1840 kHz, so didn't need the antenna tuner.
Operated only Saturday evening and did all S & P. This is my third year
operating the ARRL 160 'test and I still haven't been able to work NTX!
Plenty of OK and STX but no NTX. Tuned across W7CW many times during
the night so everybody must have WY this 'test! I had losts of fun, and
am looking forward to the CQ 160 'test.
