I was down with flue Friday and joined Torben and Morten Saturday not feeling
too fit.
Morten had a sore throat which didn't make a SSB contest any fun !. And as if
the health
issue wasn't enough, late Saturday evening the 20m/40m tower couldn't turn and
had stopped in SE.
This made 40m to US a little difficult sunday morning and I expect we missed a
lot of
US-stations on that account.
The Aurora didn't seem to affect propagation to much. Nice opening EU-US on 10m
sunday for 1-2 hours,
however some zone 8 stations was heard with good signals much later working
US-stations but it was
virtually impossible to break the US pile-up and get their attention.
I hope to see you all in CQWW CW. I will participate in the T48RCT DXpedition
in Cuba so Torben
and Morten will be even more tired after this one !.
73 de Soeren, OZ1FTU.
