NOTHING TO DECLARE !
In fact, I was not in the contest since Richard/F5VCO/G0JFX was operating
as TM2Y at my station. But due to propagation and bad shape, he prefered
to give up saturday afternoon. So for fun, I started to call big guns with
QRP power on 20, just to see if the ears were washed on the other side of
the Atlantic ocean and I was surprised that it worked with a few or no
repeat of my callsign. So later I tried on 40, and it was still working !
So I tried on 80 ... and it was still working !!! I admit that repeat were
more frequent but sometimes my callsign was got at the first call (W1FJ).
Sorry but on 160 ... it was not working. With an A index > 30 it was an
interesting experience, demonstrating what can be done with a few watts.
See you for WPX.
