Best hour sunday 1200z where the combined 15 meter and 10 meter rate topped
just over 180 hr mark. Nice 10 minute opening on 10 meters, IQ4A was 20 db
over s9. Worked SV,9H,T9,F,G,TA, beam heading was 15 degs for peak sigs which
was interesting.
AA2DU ran about 600 q's second day on 15. Europeans were reporting our signal
was 20 to 45 db over all day on sunday. What a fantastic opening!!
40 meters produced some very good runs into Eu, rates of up to abt 75 hr. The
loudest Eu was agian from IQ4A, 40DB PLUS all night. Nice 40 meter opening
into asia, 9M8R was s9 along with YB3OSE and a few others but they never
QSX'ed up for USA.
So its back to the drawing board to optimize the station some more. The 1/3
of an acre out at Jim's KE2NL, May be ready for the a third tower.
Until next time 73's Mike KF2ET...>
