To all the boffins out there: Is it possible that a good pre-selector (band pass filter) in front of your favourite receiver may improve your rx in general on top band, even though you have no reason

I am assuming that this preselector is passive... If it is an active device, forget it - all it is going to do is overload and create intermod... Now, if it is passive, then it is likely to help... T
