Toni, I have found that the solid wire ladder line from Wireman lasts long. However, I have converted to WD-1A military telephone wire which is inexpensive on eBay in large spools. In this case I use

Hello Toni, The impedance of the two-wire line should equal the impedance of the two wires to ground. If they do not, then you need to change the ratio of the 1:1 reflection (far end) transformer. In
