You can make a feedline choke with snap-on ferrites as follows: wind 4 turns of the feedline through 5 snap-on cores of Fair-Rite part #0431176451. The core has an inner diameter of about 3/4 inch an

Rich, I don't use any chokes on my 160m 9-circle RX array....located about 900ft from the shack. Chokes on the lines of your antenna couldn't hurt. Snap-on chokes may not offer worthwhile resistance.
