- I had a couple of close contacts with V85AA last year, but he always had problems hearing me. He could sometimes get a partial call, one time as close as W8IJ! I've heard him quite well several times

- Hello, V85AA showed up again at about 1310z on 1831 and called a couple of cq's but couldn't hear any callers due to heavy QRN and went QRT. His signal was Q5 in Utah today so things are looking up.
