Tree is correct on signal quality. Clicky CW signals are very common in Europe especially during contests (for some reason?). Even with good RX antennas including phasing units it is hard to dig out

1. The days that Eastern European station as a rule had bad signals are long gone. There are still many more unmodified FT1000's in the US than in Eastern Europe, causing bad CW clicks! I find it NOT
