I have tried both. The phased verticals simply worked exactly as modeled the first time. I never could get the beverages to phase properly in either end fire or broadside. YMMV. Rick N6RK __________

Remember, the verticals are all very small (compared to a wavelength) and lossy, so one can assume there is no mutual coupling. The tophat is just 4 wires the same length as the vertical wire slopin
