Oval Clodfester is a Ham O Holic. His call is N1ERD. He lives in Antenna Magicland on Eznec Avenue and can instantly create and remove any antenna his little Code Oscillatin Heart can stand. Here is

Howdy Oval, you are one lucky SOB! Being close to salt water, ideally if on the beeeech, your best and least complicated solution is just to run two elevated radials (see Team Vertical exploits). That

Hugh, I don't claim to be an "antenna expert". My observations with similar configurations and my intuition suggest the following: a) The capacitance of the radial system to the salt-water (saturati

Hi All, Just to reflect what has happened in the past, N6BT did a DXPD to 6Y. He had verticals on the beach. As understand it his radials were sloped toward the water so they terminated maybe 100 fee

Hardy, During TX3A we used a vertical T and DID NOT HAVE ANY RADIALS. The antenna was standing in salt-water on a large aluminum stand to which we connected the "ground wire". It seem to have worked

There seems to be little information available on the subject of radials over/in salt water and ground rods. Not many people have salt water to play with, and data is lacking. I can give you my opini

Hi, To reiterate what I posted a short time ago, I have a beautiful location for transmitting, salt water tributaries within 100' of my radials and a salt marsh for 40 of the 60 radials, the others a
