After a pit stop I decided to listen for ZL9CI on 160 m just before 0900 utc. Soon heard AA0RS and W8JI work him on 1840 ssb, but could not hear the ZL9 here in SW Montana, but hrd ZL2JR. Just at 090

Conditions were great! Worked them here in Michigan at 1000Z (5:00 A.M. local) on my vertical with no "real" receive antenna. I want to thank my dog for waking me and wanting to tinkle at 4:45 A.M. I

160 starting AROUND 09:30. When they disappear from 80 check 160..he might be going back es forth in the beginning until 160 opens, then staying on 160. 160 again when they return to the island at 1
