I think Gene is refering to the fact that cabrillo logs have only been accepted for a short time. Thus there is not a long enough baseline of on-line data to be able to determine a trend, using just

Gene, Certainly the "top 10" station's logs have been Cabrillo submitted for several years. Wouldn't it prove useful to examine them to see if the trend you believe is occuring is in evidence there?

I usually keep quiet about this stuff but I feel the need to comment here. First when the ARRL switched from the old format to cabrillo I didn't send in a log for over a year. Why? Switching formats

I'm one of those guys. Sort of. My favorite operating class in VHF contests is Single-Op Portable (QRP-portable). Almost all of my VHF+ contesting has been this way. My setup has grown over the years
