Our goal should not be to try and level the playing field, because that is impossible. Even if we eliminate the differences in popluatin densities (which is impossible) we still have propogation diff

I suppose a GPS will be a requirement for a Rover if using the 6 digit grids. At this time, I can get by with a Forest Service map but.... Getting more people on the air is the real key... For this C

It also might make it easier if we eliminate the ban on 146.52 simplex. Why is that still in place? It probably had merit when we were all using crystal rigs, and that was the only simplex frequency
