I have encountered this a NUMBER of times on 6m. Always considered it to be just the side lobes working good until seeing this message. I encountered this for a number of years first at one Field Day

Is the band WA0KBZ referring to 2 Meters? I was active on 2 Meters during the tropo opening from EM18 KS and heard St. Louis area stations and stations further east at the same time on tropo. I even

typo - should be 2009! I had tropo enhancement from August 24 - 26. Best DX on 2M was KA2LIM FN12 from EM18. Am planning single op portable from either EM28 or EM18 during the Sept. contest on 50, 14
