Hi Jon: The two weak spots (ok three) of TR-751's that have manifested over the years are: 1. Volume Pot goes noisy and then fails 2. RF Gain Pot goes noisy and then fails 3. Optical Encoder goes bad

Hi Bruce, thanks for the good info. Yup, I had a few fellows send me a reference to the old "Kenwood East" website and noted that the pots are now discontinued and out of stock. Darn. I have one TR-7
