I think what Steve is pointing out is that there are too many stations ONLY using FT8 and everyone is missing out on contacts when this happens. There are people who are not on digital for various re

I don't think they cared about increasing your score. They might have said that if you wanted to increase your score, you should have been on FT8. Perhaps the ARRL should add a "no computer modes" cl

Alan, I'm sure they didn't care about increasing my score, nor I theirs. It seems to me to be a waste to use FT8 to contact hams who are local to  you (within 30 miles) when either SSB or CW will do
