Correct - W1GHz had a 222 transverter and that article may still be on his website - this was made to interface with the 817.  I think W1GHZ had/has a small board 222 transverter, unsure what the IF

The W1GHZ boards are about 2.0 X 2.5 inches. I have one right in front of me. Nice little boards for use as microwave IF's or for Rovers. I use one as a 432 to 28 MHz intermediate transverter for my
