Hi, This morning 0400 local (2000z) band seemed good but my 160m antenna is broken. Tuned up the 80m antenna onto 160 ( high SWR) and had 31 Europeans and VE1ZJ in the log....who needs a 160m antenna

If you want to make it a "DX" contest then more focus has to be on DX. Use grid squares and make long distance contacts count and short distance ones, say less than 3000KM/s worth nothing...for me 30

Hi All, I bought one Kilometre of fencing wire...$10..cut the fencing wire into 9 inch pieces, bend into "U" shape...lay the radial on the the ground and peg every 6 feet or so with the hairpin wire.
