Thomas, What does this mean?? I am a retired Research Scientist who has spent almost his entire career in the Space Radiation field, but this doesn't make any sense at all to me! Bert, VE3QAA

Even if the moon's gravitational field could interact with the Earth's magnetic field (which it can't), why would the gravitational field be any stronger at full moon than any other time? Bert, VE3QA

Is there any information out there on most useful TOA's on 160m, in partiular for the Eastern NA to Europe path? I realize this is not a simple problem, and is not something that can be measured easi

I think this answer is the only one that makes any sense. I have the same problem using an Autek - the reactance can't be reduced to zero with any setting of the series capacitor tuning my shunt fed

I need to solder some on-ground radials, and I understand silver solder is more resistant to corrosion by the elements. I understand there are two broad classes of silver solder; the low-temperature

Tom, I believe I have heard the same thing. The first time was about Nov 3, plus or minus 2 days. I don't know the direction it was coming from as my Beverages are still in a state of upgrade. I only

This is a common misconception, based on the assumption that the lifting power is proportional to the molecular weight (or density) of the filling gas. The lifting power is actually proportional to t

Floyd I hope so too, but don't be too optimistic. I worked over 500 stns in the contest and the only band I heard him on was 160, and he was giving out Serial 288 when I worked him. This means these
