I have just purchased a very small flat antenna from DX Engineering. I had the idea of using it as a sense antenna to cancel noise. I would put the null on the DX station, and phase cancel the rest.

Do preamps need to be close to electrically small mag loops to maximize SNR from common mode RFI? I would imagine in theory yes, but in application I have no experience to draw from. Thanks, Chris KQ
