I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting 40 or 50 dB attenuation at 2 MHz, Dan. Small DIP relays for instance should give isolation on order of at least 70 to 80 dB at 2 MHz (probably more)

I think the numbers you are citing above are spot on, but I would argue that even even as little 1dB improvement in EIRP is worth going after, especially if you are dealing with a compromise system (
