Practical question: What is the best way to run beverages through woods? I was considering using electric fence insulators nailed to trees, keeping the height at 6-7' so I don't choke anybody walking

A line noise problem that I have never had before has just started. The noise sounds like normal 60 hz line noise, but peaks on 160m. It is strong (~S9) on 80, but is absolutely wiping out 160m - It'

In order to improve my 160 DX /contest totals, I want to try a full size 160 wire vertical on my 120' grounded tower. I've heard a bottom feed with 3 or 4 elevated/insulated radials is the way to go.
