You folks may remember I bought an FT990 a couple of weeks ago, and it was shipped to me, then arrived with many of the controls on the front panel not working, or intermittent. It soon became clear

Dear "K3VW" - you should have pressed the issue with USPS. I believe that they may have paid you if you had been stronge ron them. USPS and UPS both seem to almost always try the strong arm technique

I've had my 990 about 3 weeks now, and it was double boxed, and shipped via FedEx and the boxes looked like new. I don't think I've ever had anything like that come from UPS. Usually you'll see some

Can't vouch for fedex on this one. I bought an Icom 756 a few months ago from Tom, WQ5J who lives 180 miles from me. Fedex scanned the radio as getting on the truck to delivery to me house, and then

Didn't Fedex pay up on the insurance though? Sometimes things happen. Sometimes things get stolen, but Fedex has a REALLY GOOD batting average with me and I have shipped a lot with them, both inbound
