One of my FT1000Ds has an intermittent receive fault. The gain drops by 60db or more when dekeyed. It will come back to full gain maybe after the next TX/RX or maybe not for some time. Relay contacts

Jim, It happens on 40 and 80 but not so far apparent on 20 or 15. Switching bandwidth has no effect when in the fault condition. I shall get it apart and look for any intermittent connectors, hopeful
