I'm using a heil PR781 mic with my FT2000 rig. When I press the PROC button to activate the speech processor, my modulation is distorted [or sounds like crap]. I have the PROC EQ in the rig set to of

I have a FT 2000 rig and I want to connect a mic/eq system on the back of the rig using a RCA jack plug. My question is does the mic gain on the front of the radio have anything to do with the input
